Privacy policy
Last updated 20 August 2026
This is the policy for the Cura MVP. It is written in plain language on purpose. If a partner contract says something tighter, that contract wins for that programme.
Who we are
Cura is a health-tech MVP operated from Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria. This policy covers the website, the signed-in product, and any demo environment we run. If you have a question about your data, write to admin@curasite.top.
What we collect
Account details you give us through sign-in (name, email, profile image). Health details you choose to enter: age, sex, blood group, height, weight, known conditions, symptoms, medicines, wellness notes, and messages you send the assistant. Technical logs such as browser type and time of access, used to keep the service up.
How we use it
To show you your own record. To generate recommendations and assistant replies from that record. To keep you signed in and secure the account. We do not sell health information. We do not use your symptom or medicine log to advertise other products to you.
Legal basis and Nigeria
We treat health information as sensitive. We process it because you asked us to provide the service, and because you entered it yourself. We aim to honour the Nigeria Data Protection Act and NDPR principles: collect only what the product needs, keep it accurate, and give you a way to ask what we hold.
Who else can see it
Account sign-in is handled in the product. Hosting and email infrastructure may process account fields so the service can run. We do not hand your health log to advertisers. If a PHC or NGO partner enrols you, the workers on that programme may see the record you share with them. We will say so at the point of enrolment when that model is live.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you ask us to delete the account, we remove the health log and messages from the live product. Backups may take a short period to expire. Demo environments may reset on a schedule and should not be used for real patient care.
Your choices
You can update profile, symptoms, and medicines in the product. You can ask for a copy of your record, or ask us to close the account, by writing to admin@curasite.top. You can stop using the assistant at any time; the log remains until you delete it.
Children
The consumer MVP is for adults. A parent or health worker who enters a child's details is responsible for that entry. We do not knowingly market the product to children.
Security
Access to the product requires an account. We use encrypted transport. No system is sealed. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
This is not medical advice
Cura stores what you tell it and returns guidance based on that log. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for a licensed clinician. If someone is in danger, go to a hospital or call local emergency services.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how we use health information, we will update this page and the date below. Continued use after that date means you have seen the new terms.
Questions: write to admin@curasite.top, contact us, or read the terms of use.
