Terms of use
Last updated 20 August 2026
These terms apply when you use cura's website or the signed-in product. Read them with the privacy policy.
The service
Cura provides a website and a signed-in MVP for logging health information and receiving guidance generated from that log. We may add, pause, or change features as the product is still in early release.
Who may use it
You must be able to form a contract under Nigerian law, or use the product under a parent, guardian, or employing organisation. You are responsible for the account and for what is entered under it.
Not a clinician
Cura does not examine you, prescribe, or take responsibility for a clinical outcome. Recommendations and assistant replies are informational. Decisions about treatment stay with you and a licensed professional. In an emergency, go to a hospital.
Your content
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant Cura a licence to host it, display it back to you, and process it so the assistant and recommendations can run. Do not enter someone else's health details unless you have the right to do so.
Acceptable use
Do not attack the service, scrape it for models, impersonate a clinician, or use Cura to store or share content that is unlawful. We may suspend an account that puts other users or the service at risk.
Accounts and access
Keep your login details to yourself. Do not share an open session on a shared phone. Evaluation environments should not be used for real patient care.
Paid plans
Pro, when offered, is described on the pricing page. Consumer checkout is not a substitute for a partner agreement. Fees already paid for a completed one-time upgrade are not refunded except where Nigerian consumer law requires it.
Availability
We aim to keep the MVP reachable. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for a missed reminder, a failed save, or advice you chose to follow or ignore.
Liability
To the extent Nigerian law allows, Cura and its founders are not liable for indirect loss, lost data, or clinical harm arising from use of the MVP. Our total liability for a claim about the consumer product is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or ten thousand naira, whichever is greater.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes that cannot be resolved in writing may be taken to the courts of Lagos State, unless a partner agreement names another forum.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the effective date. If you continue to use Cura after that date, you accept the update.
